What is Kentucky Private College Week?
Good question. It’s a chance for you (and your family, or anyone else you want to drag along) to visit multiple Kentucky colleges and universities in a convenient, fun atmosphere. Each campus hosts visitors at 9 am and 2 pm (local time) each day. Visits include tours and information sessions about admissions and financial aid. Each visit lasts about 2 hours. The convenient common visit schedule means that you can schedule two visits per day (up to 10 during the week). And you can schedule all the visits online at the same time.
Kentucky Private College Week is coordinated by the Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities (AIKCU).
Why should you schedule campus visits during PCW?
The college visit is the most important factor in determining if a campus is the right fit for you. It’s a good way for you to begin the process of visiting different schools and learning more about what each has to offer. PCW is convenient – you can schedule all your visits online, you can visit a lot of campuses in a short period of time, and since all of KY’s private colleges and universities are participating it gives you a good frame of reference when you start comparing schools. You automatically receive an application fee waiver (up to a $40 value) for every campus you visit.
